We experience places through stories. A favorite coffee shop. A childhood home. A city remembered through a single street corner. The spaces we inhabit are shaped not only by walls and materials, but by memory, atmosphere, and meaning.

In Search Of is a creative practice exploring how stories help us understand the built environment. Through drawings, essays, maps, and visual narratives, I investigate the relationship between people and place, searching for the experiences, emotions, and truths that often go unseen in conventional architectural representation.

This is an ongoing search for atmosphere, meaning, wonder, and the stories embedded in the spaces around us.

Every place contains a narrative.

I explore how storytelling can deepen our understanding of architecture and design, revealing the human experiences that exist behind plans, sections, and renderings. Through writing, visual narratives, and speculative explorations, I investigate the stories that shape the places we inhabit.

Some qualities of place resist measurement.

Atmosphere lives in memory, emotion, light, texture, and perception. Through drawings and visual experiments, I examine how designers might represent the feeling of a place, not just its physical form.

Through mapping, observation, research, and reflection, I seek to understand how individuals and communities experience the built environment. These explorations ask not only what a place is, but what it means.
